Album Review: Evans Blue - "Graveyard Of Empires"

Evans Blue has always been the kind of band that knows how to write. This album is super aggressive, heavy, and instrumentally stands out to me above a lot of other albums I've reviewed. It takes a lot of me to listen to a new song in-full, but with these I couldn't push the "stop" button. Everything has an amazingly catchy hook. One of my favorites I've listened to in a while so I highly recommend picking this up! "Crawling Inside," "This Time It's Different," and "Underwater" were my favorites. 5 out of 5 stars!

  1. Lyrics are generic without Kevin Matisyn...the ex lead singer of E|B ...who now has a new band "Parabelle" ....the mastermind of the writing of the first two albums left the band .....catchy hooks may be all that is left with E|B....but hey, it worked for Brittany Spears & Creed ;)

  2. Kevin WHO? And ParaWHAT? Never heard of either one of them. Maybe you should go write your own review and leave this one to Bailey. I'm not a musician, but catchy hooks and millions of album and ticket sales like those of Britney and Creed sound pretty good to me.

    1. bahaha it's funny ...that on the same day E|B posted on facebook (6/05)that they needed some help with positive comments of Bailey's review...that 2 "unsolicited" reviewers pop up. Since they noticed they needed a little help, I wouldn't be surprised if a band member wrote this review personally. E|B blows even more now...

  3. Lyrics are NOT generic, 1st comment is just on of those kids who rides on EB's dick for parting ways with Kevin. It's an amazing album, great lyric above all else. Definitely recommend checking it out!
